There are a few things that can be trialled on the dimming module before contacting our technical team which will help us to best diagnosis any issues. The steps are as follows:
Check the minimum and maximum levels of the dimmer haven't been set already. If the minimum level has not been set, it may be that the dimmer is turned on, but the level of light is dimmed down to 0. To see if this is the issue, turn the dimmer on, then begin to the try and dim the light up to max; either by twisting the dimmer cap or holding down the retractive switch. The light may begin to get brighter, meaning the minimum has not be set yet.
To set the minimum level:
Push the setup button on the rear 3 times within 2 seconds, after that has been set, the lights will step up and down once to confirm.
To set the maximum level:
Push the setup button on the rear 5 times within 3 seconds, after that has been set, the lights will step up and down once to confirm.
The next step would be to try the factory reset of the dimmers brightness; to do this:
Push the button on the rear 7 times within 5 seconds. The lights should then step up and down between brightness three times to confirm.
If the above hasn't worked, then you could trying changing the dimming mode. The dimmer is set to Trailing edge as a standard; to change to Leading edge:
Push the setup button on the back 9 times within 5 seconds. This will make the lights step up and down twice in brightness.
To change the dimmer setting back then repeat the process.
After completing all of the above troubleshooting methods, and if your still having problems such as a light glowing or flickering fitments then you could trying purchasing a Enkin Bypass Module. These are a 1W resistive load designs to tackle any small voltage leaks within the circuit.
If none of the above methods resolve the issues there may be a compatibility issue between the dimming module and the light fixtures.
Please don't hesitate to contact our customer service team to organise a return.
